A Bothaville shop
Who we are
RS Sports is a counter, a range, and a licence.
RS Sports & Outdoor is a licensed firearms dealer and outdoor shop at 8ste Ave, Industriele Gebied, Bothaville. We keep rifles, handguns, shotguns, optics, reloading kit and veld gear on the floor for customers to look at in person. This website is a catalogue of what is in the shop — not an online store. Firearm transfers are completed over the counter under the Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000, with a valid competency certificate and licence.
Staff photograph each piece, write the card, and take it down when it leaves. If a listing is marked spoken for, it is already spoken for. Drive through from Odendaalsrus, Virginia or Bloemfontein — call first if you are coming for a specific rifle.
We are not a drop-shipper and not an online gun shop. If you want a firearm, you come in with the right paperwork and we follow the Firearms Control Act.
Honest condition
New means new. Used means used. We will tell you about the wear, the bore, and what is original before you handle it.
Updated by the desk
The staff portal is how the floor stays true. Photos and descriptions change when the case changes — not once a season.
The bench
Veld first, website second
If a rifle needs a wipe-down, a scope levelled, or a card rewritten, it happens in the shop on 8ste Ave — not in a warehouse in another province. Come in during posted hours. The coffee is ordinary. The Free State light on a walnut stock is not.
